lightwind Snowkiting with Peter Lynn Twister 7.7

herc - 21-1-2011 at 07:22 AM

just wanted to share my snowkite video.
i got my twister 7.7 for 130 euro - for that price its an amazingly good lightwind kite. wind was around 4-6 knots. i was riding all the time in an empty spot all for myself :)
only other rider joined was on a ozone manta2 - but was constantly relaunching and sorting the kite out. just not enough wind for a depower foil. fixed bridle kites always win in the lowest of winds.

@feyd: at least its a peter lynn bridled kite ;-)

indeed thats raw power in the lightest of winds what the twister delivers. unbelievable. but one gets problems of course if the wind is gusty - no depower.. i wonder what a powerfull machine a peter lynn vapor 11.2 sqm will be ?

but usually i find that the light winds are not very gusty. especially thos thermal sea winds are ultra smooth..

@kami: its a really nice spot.. sadly only once a year for me during winter holidays. i wish we would have snow here in the flatlands.. just stupid rain.
