These guys make it look too easy. Coyotes are big, slow and heavy. I couldn't imagine skating around in them for fun..

They were expensive as well.
Almost makes me wonder why so many are out there on the used market.
Every pair I have bought , the person only used them a couple of times and they sat in the closet since.
I doubt there is enough interest in them at todays costs for Rollerblade to consider re-introducing them ?

I noticed that when I put mine on. Big and heavy and since the wheel base is soooooo long they don't really turn either. But the larger wheel allows
you not to die when you hit a small pebble which is my complaint about rollerblades. Maybe I'm just too used to roller hockey skates on a hard, flat
rink :wow:

freeride in the rock bowl ! love it!
all those bikes AND NO TOW ROPE!
i remember seeing an ad, think the guy was dreaded. i actually tried a pair in 2000. compared to speed they're real dump trucks.
but look what fun they are NOW

Holy Cats I just saw this thread.
Back in 1996 Rollerblade gave me a pair to ride. The first time I ever went to Moab was to skate the slick rock.
If I saw that video before hand I never would have accepted the skates! They should have left out that La Sal sequence and just shown the La Sal loop
footage and the Slickrock trail footage. That footage of the dirtbikes and the cow paths in the La Sals was just painful.
The wife and I were there again last fall. If I get a mountain board I'm taking it and a Charger and heading back to Moab. There's a place outside
of town near the airport called Bartlett Wash. If you want to skate or mountainboard slick rock THAT is the place to go. Super smooth and HUGE
riding area.
I love the Vintage Voodoos with the ROck Shox Mag 21's. Wicked flashback.

yeah the trail thing was painful. somebody had to do it. we've all done it. the hind sight is just crushing sometimes.
like i said a tow rope would have changed all of that for sure. THAT kinda footage would have been righteous
