2010 / 2011 NAPKA Membership Registration is now open!

bbrex - 5-8-2010 at 05:37 PM

Hello Kite Buggiers, ATB Landboarders, Kite Skaters, Kite Dirt Surfers of North America

The time has come; we are now opening 2010/2011 North American Power Kiting Association (NAPKA) Member Registration. We were trying to get all of the corporate documents completed pertaining to our name before we opened registration, but we can’t wait any longer.

Our Insurance premium is due by August 15, 2010 so we must act now. Please go to our new website www.NAPKA.org New members; you need to click on "Join NAPKA" and follow the instructions. For current members, you need to click on "Login" and then under "Pilots Menu" click on "Membership Renewal" and follow the instructions to register. You will be able to use PayPal or send a check via snail mail. Current members will be issued a card with their old photo on it, unless another picture is emailed to me with your new signed waiver form.

You will see our newly reworked website, thank you Morrie Williams, and those that helped make the changes. I hope you will find that the site is more streamlined and user friendly. If you come across something that may need some tweaking let us know specifically what it is, via a personal email so we can work on it.

Regards
Brad Rex
NAPKA President
NAPKA Club #13 Coordinator

Brad, I will be more than happy to join the new org. . I'm very pleased with the new name and the inclusion of atb and other traction kite related sport. This can and will be, a very good thing for the kiting community. Thanks for all your hard work , and thanks to the others that get little recognition.

Uhhh.. I don't have a passport. What should the pic look like ?

Done. I chose a number on the registration form but since I had trouble deciding, can't remember what it was. I guess I'll get something along the way to remind me. Snail mail on the waiver is the most cumbersome part. I pulled it off though.

Bladerunner - 5-8-2010 at 07:34 PM

Way to go !

I think I may have accidently paid twice ? If so can you please cancel one payment. :dunno:

I sure hope that the changes are what it takes for us to all unite and move forward. Strength in numbers and alll !

Thanks to ALL who have been working so hard to make this the club we have all asked for !

:wee:

Blade I know what you are talking about. One line is for the current charge and the other line is showing that it will be a recurring charge. You're probably ok.

It certainty doesn't have to be that precise, but that's a good guideline. Anything close to that will do.

the sample image looks like Dino's head.

sunset-Jim - 6-8-2010 at 08:42 AM

It's also easy to envision it with him wearing his skirt somehow

BeamerBob - 6-8-2010 at 09:10 AM

I've been talking with Morrie this morning and he reminded me of the number I chose. Apparently, I'm the US version of Ripsessions number! I had no idea and picked the number out of the sky. I'll need to get some number plates for my bug so we can have a picture of "North vs South". U2U sent to rip.

Hello
Power Kiters of North America

We are cutting it very close as to processing enough members to pay for our Insurance Premium at the end of this week. Please go to www.NAPKA.org now to register by PayPal so we can keep our insurance in effect.

Thanks for your support.

RonH - 10-8-2010 at 08:42 AM

Thanks for the reminder Brad...

Done.

acampbell - 10-8-2010 at 10:22 AM

Good job, guys, I'm in.

Todd - 10-8-2010 at 12:04 PM

Just sent, thank you!

BeamerBob - 10-8-2010 at 12:21 PM

It sure would be nice to tap into the population of power kiters out there that aren't part of our online community.

Morrie Williams - 10-8-2010 at 12:28 PM

Any ideas how we might do that?

acampbell - 10-8-2010 at 12:37 PM

I can put a link and a blurb on my home page. Someone get me some details on the insurance- briefly what it does and does not cover so I don't accidentally misrepresent anything.

edit: lets see if other vendors can do the same as we get traffic from search engines separate from forums.

WELDNGOD - 10-8-2010 at 03:53 PM

Brad ,I will send payment Friday morning when I get up for work. Account is depleted until then. But have no fear , I'm with everyone on this:bigok:. I will go ahead and send all the info, pic and waiver to ya' in the next day or so.

shehatesmyhobbies - 10-8-2010 at 06:25 PM

All signed up Brad! Waiting on the confirmation!

Thanks

@ Rip don't worry no one is waiting for a win to come from Canada. I 'll cover the "win" part for NAPKA!:singing:
