Ogunquit Beach ME

So I'm renting a house with a bunch of Friends for a week, and we are right on the Maine coast between Wells beach and Ogunquit. The house is a 300 yd walk from the northern most public access for Ogunquit. Sweet.

I've heard from others that Buggying is A-O-K in the unrestricted area, which I assume is anywhere north of the public lots where the lifeguards are and such. Can any locals confirm this?

Looks like a great buggy beach providing the tide is low.

I used to ride ogunquit and wells regularly. York a few times as well. Great beaches to ride if the wind is coming from the water. If your going after september when the kids go back to school you should be alright but generally speaking if your there during the "in" season you'll be asked to leave once they see the buggy or landboard. Once the season is over and the beach police are gone then they don't say anything.

Let us know when your coming,,,,,maybe one of the Mass. crew can make it up there to join you guys for a day.

I'll be up there the last week of july, unfortunately peak season for beachgoers. Low tides are early morning and evening, so if the wind cooperates any runs wouldn't be during the busy times of day. So maybe I can pull it off.

I hope to have the zooter up and running by thenso it would be nice to test it on a good beach with decent winds.
