Hey Gang

Really looking forward to seeing all y'all. Lot of new faces.

If you are out there and are planning to come and have not checked in or registered, no worries, just let me know. I am going to press with T-shirts and have to talk to the restaurant manager for Friday night.

You can register on line and choose "check or money order" and pay me later, no worries.

Or you can register on the beach, but just let me know now so I can plan.

Remember this benefits the Sea Turtle Center and keeps kite peeps cozy with local Govt.

WOW from Texas? Thats a long drive! I drove out and back to Abilene a few times and it was the pits.

But I was in a jeep, soft top, 3 speed, big tires, header pipes under the doors, everything you didn't want to drive on a trip. Last time was pulling a hooj U-Haul, rained every mile of the way. took me 24 hours by myself.

I saw things in the road that wasn't there!!!!! ate a big sack of raw potatoes on the way.

OK Gang we are locked and loaded for great on-shore winds...

Here is what I need:

Sign a Waiver before you do ANYTHING. money and registration can wait.
to do this look for...

Me (Angus )
Scott (Mougl here)
Peter Boyton (local volunteer)

one of us will have the folder...

Then soon after that we ill need menu choices for Friday night if attending dinner (and we need to know)

Fried Seafood platter
Broiled seafood platter
Steak platter
Chicken platter
Veggie only or Vegan - CALL ME and we will accomodate

All include salad, veggie and potato plus dessert and non alcoholic beverage, but I throw in a beer or wine

11th hour conformation. Josh and I are in for beach only. Hope to arrive by 2pm tomorrow and will be leaving on Friday afternoon.
How about reserve some of that 15 mph onshore breeze so I can get some H2O time tomorrow!

Special thanks to South Carolina for setting up the Bermuda high off their coast right on time. East on shore winds....

NOTE: Sea breeze means convention. Convection means the occasional thunder boomer. No worries; just a quick freshwater rinse of the gear and it's gone. Time for a beer...

Its an absolutely beautiful morning on JI! Very few clouds and a hefty breeze out of the SE. Did I mention there's easily a half mile of open beach? I can already feel an awesome day coming on!

Put the word out- in my mad dash to get everything in to the car/ trailer and get off the beach in front of the rising tide, I picked up someone's Mystic Blazer Harness, mistaking it for my Ozone. I was moving fast.

Looks like more on-shore winds today and later tide. Will be awesome... again.
