Does anybody have a Release of Liability Form that was written for kite flying I could get?
I've been thinking of writing something up for years, but you guys know how well I write. LOL
Thanks

Details?
Are you talking about Liability Waiver for an event (I have one I drafted for the AKA last year) or for the sale of a kite (Into the Wind and several
others do this for kites over a certain size).
Let me know.

I have one from my Insurance company for JIBE, let me look around for an e-copy...
EDIT: Attachment e-mailed.

I can't believe I have never thought of this when asking permission to use land! This would probably make life much easier...

If you guys got something together, I'd like a look at it.

send me an e-mail address and I can send the attachment. Mine is meant for a participant at an event but you could turn it around to protect a land
owner.
Some insurance people say that waivers mean nothing these days, but my agent does sports events and they insist that a properly worded release is a
great first defense against legal action.

Here's what we've been using for our snow kite event on the Tug Hill.

I'm looking for something like this as well... more on the lines of static flying. Just about everyone that I go to for opinions around here says that
some people might not let me fly due to insurance risks. I've even made a comment that I'd gladly sign a release form and give it to the people.
