How do you clean your lines. Is there something to put on them so they wear less?

I've heard of folks coating them in silicone spray to reduce friction - never tried it myself, but seems like it would help.

 Brian, we've been using Houston's idea for years with two line kites. Bring your lines to SOBB 2010, and I'll show you how well it works. It's like there were never any frays in your line!

silicone helps on sport kite lines and I suppose would help some on power kite lines but the amount of friction and strain is significantly higher on power kites so its effectiveness likely reduced. I just try to avoid looping the kite any more than necessary.
