Went out to Canadarago lake with a couple friends yesterday, and had a chance to test out the new Gopro HD. Snow conditions were great, about 6
inches of moderately packed powder. Awesome conditions considering I have zero snow about 40 miles away from this lake....
Wind was marginal, probably a westerly 10 gusting up in the neighborhood of 25mph, it was good enough to lay down some nice tracks. Kite is a Montana
IV 9.5m. Nothing crazy in the video just a nice day of cruising, but I always enjoy other people videos, even the boring ones, so I thought I'd share
mine.

Looks like you had a blast! I got outon Chaumont Bay today, wind was sustained 20 with gusts to 30 or so. With only 3-4" of snow covering the ice, I
knew I'd never get an edge, so my bigkites stayed in the bag. There are pics somewhere, of me getting dragged downwind by a 2.4M NPW (HQ), butt
scudding! I had fun anyway!

Atta-boy Bob, 3-4" is plenty to get an edge! pigryder - 15-2-2010 at 04:34 PM

Haha, I do love the montana, and I'll stop bothering you to sell me your 12.5 since I got a 12m Frenzy....we'll see how it stacks up, but I'm sure
It'll be able to hold it's own. Look for it in future videos. pigryder - 15-2-2010 at 06:14 PM
12m Frenzy cool! I would have like to see you add the 12.5 to your quiver but man I really like my Montana I gotta sell this Beamer 5m and get me an 8m something...... like a Neo Kamikuza - 15-2-2010 at 06:36 PM

beautiful video bro, im jealous of your snowy conditions.
Do you get much static discharge from your kite in dry weather there?

Never had an issue with static, honestly I've never even heard of it with kites before.
