Looks like it's going to be windy thru the weekend! That is if you don't mind the rain... Just got a bigfoot hardcore:wee:, and was hoping to do a
downwinder from the jetty at manzanita to the mountain but I don't have all the parts yet so I might head out for a short downwinder on the water or
maybe see how much pull the sting has in 25+ with the xr on hard pack as a test for nabx.
Anyone have any plans?

What parts are you missing on the hardcore? Really wish I could make the trip up. Be careful out there this weekend.

How did you lose a piece of a Libre Hardcore? Maybe you could use a loaner until your parts come in. Just let me know.

Blowing pretty good here... tide was really high today. I ended up taking the sting 1.7 for a test drive in 7/18/24
I was surprisde how nimble it is and how little power it generated given the sand
flying by, which is perfect for how I want to abuse it . I used the stock handles and lines which would hold up to light abuse but I'd really
need to hook up stronger lines and handles (like from the rage) to fly this thing in higher winds, say ave 20-30. It's going to take about 25mph to
event move me (#210) on the beach in a buggy, wonder what that will translate to at nabx! Thought about going on the water, but with how gusty it was
and with the wind at SSE I didn't want to get blown away by a freak storm
So the buggy, I believe the only big critical thing I'm currently missing a side rail. Working with UPS to get a replacement; we shall see in about a
week or so their response. But a buggy with 1 side rail doesn't go down the beach, so in the mean time I'll likely be getting a replacement. I'd
certianly be grateful if anyone has a spare they don't need for a few weeks until I get this mess with UPS sorted out. :Ange09: I'm working under the
assumption that I'll have this all remedied before nabx which is, oh geeze, about 6 weeks away :bigok:
