Does any one have information on Lake Sunapee events this winter. I'd like to add it to my "to do " list. I need a web site or phone contact. Thanks

Are you referring to organized snow kiting events on the lake or just things going on in the area? Where are you located?

I'd be interested as well. I live in NY, but have family in the area and it would be a good excuse to visit them.

You guys might want to contact Zeb up in North Conway. He was associated with www.powerlinesports.com but does his own instructing in the north country as well.

Some contact info on him in this thread: http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=8554

and there is always Rachael from http://www.stormboarding.com/ in VT.

I believe there was a Kite wing gathering there last winter. I live in Syracuse NY. Tug hill ,Kitestorm and Sunapee are all worth an overnight trip from here. I'm looking for events this winter to show off my snowspider sled ,I've built 5 of them and would like to find a good home for some of them.

Will you be at KiteStorm this year? I'd like to see your Spider and maybe take it for a ride!

me too, you haven't even described it and it sounds cool!

I'll be there. I'm going to paint one pink and see if I can get it up to Rachael at Stormboarding for her Girlstorm event. The ones I've got now are all aluminum and stainless as opposed to the wood ones I had last year. I'm hoping they'll be just about indestructable. I took one down the reservoir hill nextdoor to me with 140 cm parabolic skis and it zig zaged down the hill nice and smooth , made me a happy man.

I'll get pictures posted soon

Hey snowspider, you comin' to the Tug Hill event Jan. 16-18? We saw your wooden model last year, there was just too much pow to ride it. On a lake though... wheeee!

Yea I'll be there. I picked up a matching pair of stiff plastic snow boards I'm going to try in those conditions , but your right it really shines on hard surface.
