Garry Point - Do art and windsport mix?

Here is alink to a picture of the "art". It will be at the top of a little hill in the middle of our longest tack. It is 4.5m (~15ft) in diameter. It is called Windwave. It is in the prime location for ground handling paragliders.

Maybe this should be posted in the Land Access forum.

Well hopefully it'll only be there for 2 years - to be auctioned off in 2011. Should roll nicely though - get to work on the bolts holding in on the foundation

At least it will be auctioned off in 2011  and the shape is pretty kite friendly. We need something to make our runs interesting - Calgary Parks erected soccer goalposts all over the closest field I had. Now I had to dodge dog poop and the posts.

I hope they don't see your kite buggying as "dangerous" near their "work of art". Hope it works out for you.

"Yvonne Domenge hopes families will touch it, kids will climb on it and couples will crawl inside to kiss." no mention of flying a kite into it... hmmmm :wee:
