After a year of bouncing around from one crappy field after another, I finally found the perfect field for ATB. All of the previous fields are very
bumpy and uneven and have semi tall grass. Starting out rolling is the hardest part on these fields because of the uneven ground. The new place is
about 1.5 square miles of mowed hardpact grass/soil. It's up on a plataue type hill and recieves wind from every direction. There are no obstructions
of any sort. There is a walking path that surrounds the entire property but most people never venture into te grass! Most importantly people can't
have pets off of their leashes, so I have this entire space to myself without worrying about dogs jumping on my kite while it preinflates.
There are a few other powerkiters in the area, but none of the roll they all fly static. I'm so stoked to ride/fly in this space! The most rediculous
part is that it's only 3 miles from my house carltb - 8-11-2009 at 12:00 PM
i know just how you feel mate. i recently found my ideal bit of grass. flying on the beach is great but grass on the coast is better!!flyjump - 8-11-2009 at 12:13 PM
Are you talking about your secret spot? If so that looked beautiful. My field looks just like that without the hill in the middlef0rgiv3n - 8-11-2009 at 02:28 PM

Now wait a sec.... it's 3 miles from your house and it took you this long to find it? :wee:flyjump - 8-11-2009 at 02:39 PM
Yeah it's in a really strange spot, you can't see it from any roads. The way you drive to get there loops around backwards so you would never think to
look or head in that direction. I'm so happy though. WELDNGOD - 8-11-2009 at 04:10 PM
That is why google earth rocks.lunchbox - 8-11-2009 at 05:35 PM

Hit new reply and then goto the attachment, it's located right above the post reply button. If not I can host them.

this is the first half of the field length wise, you can't even see to the end of it. now do you see why i'm so excited about it! i'm the only kiter
who rides a board around here
Can't wait to break out my kite there. Nov 25th, I'm counting down the days!Todd - 12-11-2009 at 05:45 AM

That place looks familiar Flyjump! LOL Sad thing is I live 6 miles from there.flyjump - 15-11-2009 at 11:08 PM
The saddest part for me lynx69 is that you've been able to fly there for a long time and it took me this long to discover it. We are gonna have so
much now that were not by ourselveslynx69 - 15-11-2009 at 11:23 PM
Hope to see more power kiters come out there or people interested. I have always got my 3.6 Beamer with me for the noobz. With Flyjump boosting 20
to 30 feet with his scorps, it won't be long before there is more prospects for the addiction!!
