Buggybags Has Done it Again

popeyethewelder - 12-10-2009 at 11:17 PM

Most of you guys have heard of Buggybags, based in the UK, they make a whole range of gear for kite buggiers, and their work is top class Buggybags.....they are perfectionists

For example, I was pleased with my new buggy, but Jon at Buggybags wasn't, he didn't like the way his race seat fitted against the side rails...

as you can see, my side rails are high and the Buggybags race seat, is a good 100mm below the rails

So, Jon and Helen set to work, and made a special seat specially to fit this buggy

as you can see, the seat now fits the profile of the rails much better

Not content with making the perfect seat for the buggy, he also personalised the seat for me

Yet again, and as always, Jon and Helen have come up trumps and produced a fantastic piece of kit, and their workmanship is as perfect as always

Clamp on back rest, and go from there?

EDIT: sorry for the hijack. Looks killer, Popeye.

We have a seat that may fit an XR, take a look at the site www.buggybags.co.uk Mk6 seat or Radsail Seat.

You probably don't make anything that'd add a back on a PL Folding buggy, do you? Note that it's the original folder, which has lower side rails than the folding+.

What a great job they did there at buggybags! Popeye I really like the way they personalized the seat for you.

side note! Although my new buggy will ever be anything as to which you build, I am starting it this weekend! It should be done Sunday! Happy buggying!

Thanks for the review Popeye, It is always great to hear possitive words about some one. As I have been hearing about you as well. I am new to the buggie world and have found your words of wisdom and your photos very helpfull in building my buggie.
Dave.

Thank you rocfighter, although I only get to meet Jon from buggybags, once maybe twice a year if I am lucky, but I have worked with him via email and photos for a few years now, and rarely a day go by without us emailing each other.

He and his wife Helen really do a superb job, and I never have any trouble recommending them, I know you guys will have some hefty shipping costs, but believe me, you will never need another seat.

Some of his work you can see on my welcome page Here

Just realised the bottom two photos are his very first and last seats he has made........but he has probably made a few more since then lol

.....and you can find out all about Jon at Buggybags Here
