Aug 1-2 Sunset Beach

So anyone planning on being at Sunset this weekend?

Weather looks good and NOAA is predicting winds westerly at 5-10.

Does any one know of any half way decent camp sites for tents in the area?

:( i'll be down south! (florence) lol... i'll catch you another time eh? btw i would HIGHLY recommend "Wrights for Camping" it's in cannon beach but everything else close to sunset didn't look too good.... Bud's camping LOL... or the one that's down the street from it is just gross lookin' :D . Wrights for camping was an awesome place to camp, and their reasonable ;)

LOL..... Was 96 in Corvallis today at 10:00. Only 72.9 high in Newport. With a nice breeze :wee:

Fort Stevens is a great place to camp, wooded, privacy, showers, restrooms, and close to Sunset Beach.
Sunset Beach was 70 yesterday with west winds.

Kampers West in Warrenton. RV's, tents, and cabins. I've stayed there a few times.

Unfortunately with heat like this in the valley it's going to be kind of hard to find a spot.

If anyone is unable to find camping space, let me know. There's a couple of spots that one could erect a tent. and I have room for two cars off street. FYI, I'm living in Eli's old house in the back. I do have a garage too.

I heard that Oswald was closed for camping now... shame cause it was such a great place to camp (and surf- which you can still do there)
