MBS Pro 100; OK for for cruising a beach?

doneski - 2-7-2009 at 06:37 AM

I'm trying to find a good landboard for beach cruising.
I want to cruise and carve turns.
I don't want to jump.
Speeds nice too.
I'm 175 pounds and have PL kites; Venom 13 and 16.

Any opinions on MBS 100 or the Pro 16

I don't know how well "carving" goes on some beach sand. I just know that the lighter kind of skate trucks on some MBS models seem too wobbly for steady traction cruising.

mbs comp 95 should do you fine.

Flexifoil Kava ... about 4 miles long and a silly shape but great for speed runs and carving slow, lazy turns. Not sure if they make them anymore ;)

Kave retired.

Current Flexi boards are the Tracker and Hunter.

Of course, merchandise is always hanging around on the back shelves of stores (heck some stores still have new Bullets) :wink2:.

Oh the Kava has big ass wheels too ... and it's a big heavy thick deck too - perfect for fatty!

MBS CORE 95 , I LOVE THISBOARD ITS SLIGHTLY LONGER THAN NORMAL SUPER STABLE!! VERY GOOD PRICE

THAT PRO 100 IS PRICEY BRAND NEW, GO WITH THE CORE 95 IF YOU JUST WANT TO CRUZE.

PSI AT 40 IS PERFECT

+1 on the Core 95. Great value board. I ride a Pro 6, but I think that its overkill and that I'd be just as happy on a Core 95 or Comp 90 or 95.
